Sugano Cabernet Franc from Friuli is deep ruby red color; the nose is extremely characteristic, distinctly herbaceous and mineral, fruit nuances, vegetable and spicy sensations. The olfactory range ranges from red berry fruit, such as currant, blackberry and marasca cherry, vegetable pepper to the notes of cinnamon and clove nails. On the palate full-bodied and intense, with round and harmonious tannins, it shows freshness well merged with soft notes. Long and persistent in the finish, confirms the olfactory sensations. Excellent with cold meats, roasted red meats, game. Its full flavour harmonises perfectly with mature cheeses, such as Montasio. Outstanding with Pitina Della Val Tramontina, polenta concia and lamb with kren.
